Sangha Nature-Art Opening Reception
March 7 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

We are excited to announce that the Bellmore Memorial Library has offered us the opportunity to hold a Sangha Nature-Art Exhibit during the full month of March 2026, demonstrating nature and culture with a heart-centered focus.
Young people who participate at Sangha Education Center will be hosting this Opening Reception to introduce the artwork they have created during our Summer at the Sangha, Project Stewardship, and Civic Mentoring programs. A presentation about neurodiversity and a bit about Sangha will be presented by one of our participants. Paintings and drawings will be framed for viewing around the community room. Additional three-dimensional art will be on display at the Opening Reception.
We invite the Long Island community to join us to see the creativity and inspiration our young people possess! Their understanding of the world has led to many creative projects through our primary program pillars of Nature, History, and the Arts where their strengths are naturally cultivated while anxiety is minimized.
Our 501c3 non-profit organization has created “A Place of Wonder” that we would like to share with the Long Island community. Our “whole-learner” philosophy is a model that everyone can follow, leading to positive outcomes for all involved. Details about individual artists will be provided for the exhibit. Refreshments served. This event is free for the community and will be a skill-building experience for our teens and young adults.
Please consider donating to help support our young people and the programs offered at Sangha!
