From Learned Helplessness to Learned Optimism

Virtual Event Virtual Event

May 25, 2022 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

At this month’s Community Support Group meeting, Christine Keller will introduce the group to tips within the field of Positive Psychology and how to apply strengths and values that enable individuals, families, schools, and communities to thrive.

These methods can be combined with the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) approach in various ways to help everyone involved move from learned helplessness to learned optimism in an effective manner! Take-away activities will be discussed.

In addition to presentation and take-home activity resources, this will be an interactive forum for attendees to discuss their experiences, areas of concerns, and triumphs in using the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) approach or questions they have in order to overcome “bumps in the road”.

NOTE: “Kids Who Fall Through the Cracks” has been moved to September.
