Join Certified Nature Therapy Guide, Stephanie Gaglione for monthly Forest Bathing sessions that open with meditation and close with nature tea ceremony. Experience “A Place of Wonder” within yourself, with others and the natural world. Several sensory “nature invitations” are provided while we walk the grounds around Historic Malcolm House and take the trail to our Meadow Farm.
Themes change, but some highlights for engaging with Nature have included “connecting with trees”, “making nature’s music”, “collecting nature scents”, and “finding textures in nature”. We gather in a community circle for reflection. Regular participation in Forest Bathing can reduce stress, improve memory and focus, bolster immune system response, lead to better sleep, and an overall sense of well-being. Open to the community groups, adults, and young adults alike. Parents with younger children, too!
