2-Part Collaborative & Proactive Solutions Training

Parents, professionals, all community members, organizations, and schools are welcome to participate in our Community Support Group to learn more about the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) approach developed by Dr. Ross W. Greene to assist adults in working with young people (and with one another) to solve problems and build skills, minimizing challenging behavior or situations.

This month, Sangha Education Center has organized a 2-part CPS training to support the various non-profit partner organizations who are part of We Are Long Island (WALI). This training is open to Community Support Group members and the general public, too.

Dr. Lisa LoPinto will teach about the important components of the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) approach and guide attendees in how to address concerns and problem situations identified on the ASUP using “Plan B.”

Dr. LoPinto is a clinical psychologist in private practice who offers CPS family skills training. She is a certified CPS provider/trainer who consults with, trains and offers school district supervisions in the CPS approach. Christine Keller has advanced training in the CPS approach, established the Community Support Group in 2008 and utilizes CPS in her work with young people at Sangha Education Center.
