Sorry to say we had to cancel today’s event but may reschedule for Spring 2026.

Join us for a special introduction to American sign language, the natural language of the deaf community in the United States with Professor Azadeh Malekan. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to sign the alphabet, to spell their names, visually communicate using basic phrases and facial expressions, and embark on interactive conversation with others in sign.

In this engaging and inclusive experience, we will learn about the art of language and its impact. Everyone can benefit from the nuances of social communications taught through visual, facial, gestural, and related forms of expression, taking it with us into the world for greater interpersonal success. Join us for this fun and meaninful workhop! All community members are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
