Sangha Education Center has expanded our Nature & Wellness Connections curriculum now providing a range of opportunities for teens and young adults, adult community members and families with children. Schools and community groups are welcome, too! These hands-on nature education and wellness experiences are offered on the premises of our historic property and organic farm, for different ages, abilities, learning styles, enhancing academic knowledge, embracing creativity and enabling calm and connection. Something for everyone!
Current components of Nature & Wellness Connections are Forest Bathing and Learn & Grow sessions open to the community in addition to Summer at the Sangha for young people ages 13 and up. Come participate in applied learning activities and organic experiences that develop as we are together at Malcolm House and our adjoining Meadow Farm. These outdoor education and wellness sessions for the “whole-learner” enable individuals to gain a closer connection with the themselves, others and the natural world in alignment with our philosophy, mission and overall program offering. We will hold regular Meadow Farm Volunteer Days where the community can contribute, learn and grow together! Contact us for details!

Our programs bring community together towards improving our overall health and enabling a sense of well-being through a broad range of holistic experiences and strategies. Nature is naturally therapeutic! Much needed during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond! Let us reconnect with one another and the natural world, developing new stewards for Earth.
Educators, farmers, community partners and program assistants work together to teach and facilitate our programs. Our new Meadow Farm is in the process of development. We look forward to your involvement! As we introduce Sangha School Programs (and those for community groups) at Malcolm House on the Jericho Preserve, we will begin with Nature & Wellness Connections and add on Long Island History in Your Own Backyard soon! Additionally, we continue to offer Start Your Own School Garden to Long Island schools.
