WaterFront Center Kayaking on the Bay

Join our Project Stewardship teen and young adult group for an outing to The WaterFront Center of Oyster Bay for a guided kayak tour along the coast of Oyster Bay. This was such an enjoyable event last spring that our young people who participated asked if we can do it again.

Single and double kayaks are available. Kayaking and paddling are low-impact activities that improve fitness, muscle strength & flexibility which can lead to cardiovascular benefits. And, as stated on their website, enabling “big smiles!”

The WaterFront Center is a non-profit organization located in Oyster Bay, NY, offering marine education and recreational & instructional sailing programs, as well as paddleboard, kayak, and sailboat rentals. Our Project Stewardship group has also embarked on a wonderful harbor tour aboard the National Historic Landmark Oyster Sloop, Christeen. You may view their website for details!

We are happy to return and enjoy time together, learning, socializing, and building skills in this beautiful nature setting. Following the kayak tour, we will visit marine life at The WaterFront Center, seeing old friends and discovering new.
