Virtual Community Support Group

The Community Support Group began in 2008 to support parents and professionals in the use of the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) approach developed by Dr. Ross Greene, enabling adults to work successfully with young people to solve problems and build skills, minimizing challenging behavior.

Dr. Lisa LoPinto has been facilitating the group with us to provide families and school personnel with guidance and support. If you have been using CPS or have not used it before, come and bring the problem situations you are experiencing with your child/student and we can delve into them using the CPS framework as everyone learns how to build skills and solve problems together. Upon registration, you will automatically be sent the Zoom link.

Dr. LoPinto is a clinical psychologist in private practice who also offers CPS family skills training. She is a certified CPS provider/trainer who consults with, trains and offers school district supervisions in the CPS approach. Christine Keller has attended CPS advanced training, established the Community Support Group, and utilizes CPS in her work with young people at Sangha Education Center. Dr. Greene offers a range of educational resources on this non-profit website, Lives in the Balance including worksheets, videos and more.
