Our activity segment will include Science Scents Experiments based on the ancient art and chemical science of making fragrances that goes back about 4,000 years to develop perfumes, incense, and vapors from flower petals.

AM – Medicinal Herb Walk
PM – Botany Art
Natural Nurse, Ellen Kamhi, will join us to guide a Medicinal Herb Walk around Malcolm House and to our Meadow Farm. We will learn how to identify the healing plants on our premises and their functions, collecting them towards the afternoon activity of Botany Art. Tracing some of the medicinal plant samples will etch their shapes and patterns in our minds and serve as the background to pressing and framing the powerful plants that resonate with us most.
