Learn & Grow – Garlic Workshop

Join Farmer Regina for this Meadow Farm Learn & Grow session that begins with a presentation at Historic Malcolm House including interesting scientific background information and world history related to Garlic as well as the medicinal health benefits of garlic including remedies and recipes. The presentation will be followed by a nature walk to our Meadow Farm to plant garlic. Learn from the wisdom of those who came before us and take part in these time-honored practices towards the sustenance and well-being of our community that develop as we are together on the Jericho Preserve. Education for the “whole-person” through Nature & Wellness Connections. All community members are welcome! If parents are bringing younger children, we have a garlic art activity that they may work on during the presentation. Something for everyone!
