Plant Identification on the Jericho Preserve

May 22, 2021 @ 1:00 pm 3:00 pm

We are privileged to have a local arborist, Frances Reidy as well as one of our Project Stewardship program participants, Jackson, walk us through the property on/around Malcolm House and our Meadow Farm on the Jericho preserve to identify plant life including local, non-local and invasive species. We will also weed & save to cultivate plant life to manage growth, expand garden areas and contribute to the health of our natural environment and all the life that it supports. We will document our living environment by logging information about plant life on the Jericho Preserve, their location type and function as well as the beneficial feature they offer. Learn about the true meaning of sustainability and enjoy time with friends.
