We are excited to embark on another outing with our Project Stewardship teen and young adult group to the Nassau County Museum of Art for Our Gilded Age, an exhibit spanning the post-Civil War Reconstruction period through the advent of the First World War. The museum casts the glitz and glamour of the Gilded Age in a dramatically new light, drawing on the legacy of the Bryce and Frick families and other prominent figures who shaped the Gilded Age history of New York and Long Island. The exhibition combines archival material never before paired with important artworks from an extensive network of collections, museums and local sources.
Weather permitting, we will have the opportunity to walk the grounds. Bring snack and drink. And, if interested, money for the gift shop!
