Kindness Garden Dedication

We would like to express our thanks to all who have contributed to making the Kindness Garden possible and the ongoing assistance we have received at our Meadow Farm space. Special thanks to our program participants, Laura and Brooke, through whom the idea manifested!

It is our pleasure to arrange a day to dedicate the Kindness Garden to extraordinary individuals whose heart-centered existence impacted ours: To Antonet Bivona-Bayrak, my childhood friend and “soul sister”, lover of children and animals, whose kindness and amazing smile lit up the lives of all those who knew her. And, to Bernice Simmons, one of our Sangha kids who volunteered with us and served as an important advocate for herself and others, a beckon of light and kindness. Her rainbow light continues to shine on (literally) which we will discuss at the dedication celebration.

On this special day, dedicated to those who embodied kindness and advocated for its presence in the world, we will take our nature trail to the Kindness Garden and share some readings and stories with one another. And, also plant some seeds of kindness in the garden. We will then return to Malcolm House for a reception with light refreshments and community camaraderie.
