Improv Theatrics (Part 2) – Monologues & Dialogues, Expressing Your True Voice

We are excited to have Toniann Butler, singer, songwriter and vocal coach return to Sangha Education upon the request of our young people. Toniann will provide teens and young adults in our Project Stewardship program with a variety of full group and team activities where participants can express their voice through monologues to create scenes and dialogues to connect themes in fun and creative ways.

Improv theatrics activities will include emotion charades, being aware of your surroundings, communicating in ways that are helpful to others, script writing, and performing with one another. Participants build skills when stepping outside of their comfort zone, getting into character toward creative expression in a safe space.

The activities are flexible and customized for each group. Participant input will also guide the process as they recognize the benefits of how to express their voice in different ways and situations applicable to daily life.
