Electronic Lego Science Team-Building Day

We are excited to announce that our community partner, Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS), has donated three Electronic Lego Science kits and we will be embarking on a team-building day to assemble them together, one kit more advanced than the others: a radio telescope, a navigation satellite, and an emergency communication vehicle.

We will first learn about the technology underlying each kit through a brief presentation. And then collaborate on assembly, installation, and connectivity of one (or more, depending on complexity and time) of the three kits. We will set up stations for teams to play specific parts in the building process and then come together in the end to enable the different parts to form a working model.

Come take part in this fun science adventure and build collaboration, organization, and problem solving skills while enjoying time with peers! Another session to complete the other kit(s) will take place in subsequent season(s), if needed. Special refreshments to be served at this final Project Stewardship event of Fall 2024.
