Come learn all about horses at Dautner Downs! Our Project Stewardship group will have the opportunity to be educated by lifelong horseperson and stable manager, Helene Dautner. Tour the grounds and meet, pet, groom and feed several horses from a Clydesdale (Scottish Breed of Draught Horse) named Duchess of Dautner Downs to an array of former thoroughbreds as well as the Walter, the pig! Duchess even has a personal groomer who braids her hair! Volunteer opportunities may be available via Civic Mentoring. Bring a picnic lunch or snack and drink. Dress comfortably w/old sneakers. ADMISSION FEE: $15
