Postponed due to weather this weekend.
This event will be held during the Spring 2024.

Join our Project Stewardship group as Astronomical Society of Long Island (ASOLI) offers the next in our series of workshop topics in astronomy and opportunities to view celestial properties within the night sky with member telescopes. ASOLI is a group of dedicated amateur astronomers and telescope makers with a passion for their hobby who meet regularly at the Vanderbilt Planetarium and via Zoom.

We are grateful to have their president, Ken Spencer, offer hands-on learning about astronomy and light pollution and present about the celestial properties we will observe. He will be accompanied by other astronomy enthusiasts including Victoria Tan, a Jericho Schools student and president of The Luminarii, an astronomy club with whom we have begun collaboration. All are welcome to participate in this wonderful evening of education and observation.
