Summer At The Sangha 2021—Week 1
Week 1 of Summer at the Sangha includes workshops on habitats, land and microbes, history, forest bathing, planting and totem pole creation.
During this 4-week summer program with morning and afternoon inclusive community classes that are open to the general public, teens and young adults are introduced to a sampling of heart-centered nature and wellness themes that include history, culture, science, and creative arts. Games and team-building take place during lunch. Participants will come together for outdoor learning experiences, enjoy camaraderie and minimize anxiety guided by our farmers, teachers, peer-mentors and community partners.

Week 2 of Summer at the Sangha includes workshops on Long Island water history, sea life, environmental justice, water wellness, medicine wheel gardens, and totem pole creation.
Week 3 of Summer at the Sangha includes workshops on Dungeons and Dragons, pollinators, forest bathing, gardening, and totem pole creation.
Week 4 of Summer at the Sangha includes workshops on Long Island animal identification, Malcolm House, compost bins, and native drumming.

Week 2 of Summer at the Sangha includes workshops on reiki, weather and rain barrels, Dungeons & Dragons, trees, laughing yoga and totem pole creation.
Week 3 of Summer at the Sangha includes workshops on gardening, reiki, forest bathing, recycling crafts, ancient forests, and crystals.
Week 4 of Summer at the Sangha includes workshops on birds, Dungeons & Dragons, reptiles, vermiculture, and gender.

Week 2 of Summer at the Sangha includes workshops on metal detecting, totem pole painting, worm houses, dyeing and yoga.
Week 3 of Summer at the Sangha includes workshops on sound story songs, wind turbine energy, forest bathing, botany art, medicinal herbs, and scents.
Week 4 of Summer at the Sangha includes workshops on astronomy, live animals, singing bowls, the water cycle, totem poles, and bird houses.
