Educational Consulting & Training sessions are geared to meet the individual needs of our community members. We strive to educate and support young people, parents and professionals through theory and practice, building knowledge and skills that benefit all involved.
Consultations provide a roadmap to guide families of young people with a range of abilities and needs to address educational and social-emotional concerns while devising a plan to work with school personnel and community resources. Training for young people, parents and professionals is offered by educators who embrace whole-child learning methods recognizing that one-size-does-not-fit-all. Guidance, recommendations and referrals are provided to assist with a variety of situations.
When it comes to our young people, it is critical to ensure that they experience success from the start versus years of learned helplessness, which can save lives. We are grateful to have worked with some amazing educators who have been willing and able to view their students through new lenses and implement different ways for students to learn and express. We work with various community partners to provide the resources needed towards the education and well-being of all learners.
We partner with schools to develop plans for students who have learning differences or disabilities, all of whom have a range of abilities and may also be gifted in one or more area. In their school experiences, students’ strengths are often overlooked or are not fully utilized and areas of weakness can cause significant challenge. We enable incremental academic and social-emotional development by working with students directly and through consults and training of educators and other school personnel.
