Sweetbriar Nature Center provides natural science education services for Long Island residents of all ages and engages in native wildlife rehabilitation services. Our Project Stewardship teen and young adult group is excited to return to Sweetbriar for this special event… This is an extended day outing for May and June combined.
Sweetbriar Nature Center will be hosting their Annual Festival and the seasonal opening of the Butterfly Vivarium. The day will be filled with wildlife presentations, craft vendors, food trucks, and musical performances. More information coming soon!
We will have time for a nature walk on this 54-acre property of gardens, meadows, woodlands and wetland habitats along the Nissequogue River where hundreds of species of plants and animals make their homes. Join us!
