DESCRIPTION:Photo by Andreas Wagner on Unsplash\n\n\n\nWe are excited to embark on an outing to Garvies Point Museum & Preserve for their Native American Fall Festival. We will participate in the various activities as well as listening to storytelling and history with Chief Redfeather\, Montaukett Tribe. \n\n\n\nWe will participate in a museum tour to learn about Native American culture\, Long Island Geology\, and\, Dinosaurs! This will be an educational experience with hands-on elements and special activities. Based on weather and interest\, we may take a nature walk on trails in the forest preserve or along the shoreline.  \n\n\n\nThere is a gift shop for those who wish to purchase interesting memorabilia. Bring lunch\, snack and drink. Please meet up at 12:45pm in front of the main entrance. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\nIf you are already a member of our Project Stewardship program\, please register using the “Member” registration below. If you would like to become a member\, please add both the “Project Stewardship Program” and “Member” registration to your cart. If you would simply like to join us for a single session\, please purchase the “Standard” registration below.
