SUMMARY:Sangha Nature-Art Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:Photo by Cemrecan Yurtman on Unsplash\n\n\n\nWe are excited to announce that the Bellmore Memorial Library has offered us the opportunity to hold a Sangha Nature-Art Exhibit during the full month of March 2026\, demonstrating nature and culture with a heart-centered focus.  \n\n\n\nYoung people who participate at Sangha Education Center will be hosting this Opening Reception to introduce the artwork they have created during our Summer at the Sangha\, Project Stewardship\, and Civic Mentoring programs. A presentation about neurodiversity and a bit about Sangha will be presented by one of our participants. Paintings and drawings will be framed for viewing around the community room from March through April. Additional three-dimensional art will be on display at the Opening Reception. \n\n\n\nWe invite the Long Island community to join us\, meet some of the artists\, learn about others through their biographies\, and support our teens and young adults. You will be inspired by the talent our young people possess! Their understanding of the world has led to many creative projects through our primary program pillars of Nature\, History\, and the Arts\, where their strengths are naturally cultivated while anxiety is minimized. Enjoy community camaraderie and refreshments. \n\n\n\nOur 501c3 non-profit organization has created “A Place of Wonder” that we would like to share with the Long Island community.
