Special thanks to our program participants\, Laura and Brooke\, through whom the idea manifested! \n\n\n\nIt is our pleasure to arrange a day to dedicate the Kindness Garden to two extraordinary individuals whose heart-centered existence impacted ours: To Antonet Bivona-Bayrak\, my childhood friend and “soul sister”\, lover of children and animals\, whose kindness and amazing smile lit up the lives of all those who knew her. And\, to Bernice Simmons\, one of our Sangha kids who volunteered with us and served as an important advocate for herself and others\, a beckon of light and kindness.
